Kari had a custom white heart cut out dress made for her reception. I love when brides slip into a classic white dress for dancing. I honestly wish I would have known about this possibility as I definitely would have done the same. I dance like crazy (seriously, I look crazy) and had a rough time dragging that bustle around.

Here she is when she first got it (I just love her mustard bathroom and that you can see the front and back in one shot) and then at her reception.

Customer Appreciation- Charlie's Maids

I love this wedding party. The girls all got the same tops and fabric, but they chose different fits and lengths for the skirts. It's such a simple way to make each maid happy and still have them match. And seriously, they look so comfortable wearing what flatters them perfectly.

Deanna asked me to customize my heart cut out dress for her to wear to her cousins wedding and I'm so happy she did! I love this orange paisley fabric and am tempted to make this for myself for the autumn.

Kate is gorgeous. Not only is she a looker, but she's also a real sweet lady. Kate, a wedding photographer, has ordered 2 dresses from me this season. She's such a pleasure to work with that I feel we are friends, and not a "business transaction". Part of feeling that way is because I can read all about her on her blog. You should too. She's an incredible photographer. And if I had any reason to be heading out to Wheaton, IL. you know I'd be asking her for a photo shoot.
